How to make a photography logo here
- 1
Enter your studio name
Type the name exactly as clients see it, up to 40 characters, so "Maya Ortiz Photography" fits. Add an optional tagline of up to 50, such as "Weddings and Portraits".
- 2
Pick style, icon and colors
Choose one of five styles, one of six photo icons and one of seven palettes. The details box takes up to 200 characters for one extra request.
- 3
Generate and cut out
One square camera logo arrives as a 1024 x 1024 PNG, usually in under a minute. Press Transparent PNG to drop the white background for your watermark.
Why make your camera logo here
Six icons built for photographers
DSLR Camera, Lens Aperture, Retro Camera, Instant Camera, Camera Heart and Film Roll. Each one points at a different kind of photo work instead of a generic shape.
Spelling held up in our tests
Studio names are often personal names. In more than 60 test logos, every name and tagline came out spelled correctly, apostrophes included. Still check every letter before you use it.
Ready for a watermark
Black & White is the default palette, so the first result is a single-ink mark. That is the version that sits most quietly over a photo.
Asked to be original, not a camera brand
Every request asks the model for a new design that does not resemble any existing company logo, including the camera makers whose marks clients would recognize. Similar results are possible, so check it before you register.

Photography logo ideas by niche
Match the icon to the work you are hired for; the style and colors do the rest.
Wedding and family photographers
Camera Heart with Pastel or Navy & Gold reads warm on a proposal PDF and on a print box.
Portrait and headshot studios
Minimal with Lens Aperture gives a clean camera logo for the studio door, a price list and gallery pages.
Film and darkroom shooters
Film Roll or Retro Camera in the Vintage style suits a lab, a zine or a film camera rental shelf.
Event and photo booth hire
Instant Camera in Mascot or Badge style looks friendly on booth backdrops, print strips and party flyers.
Property and product photographers
Wordmark with a small DSLR Camera stays legible at the bottom of listing photos and catalog shots.
Hobbyists building a portfolio
A simple camera logo gives an online portfolio and a social profile one consistent mark.
Turning your camera logo into a photo watermark
A watermark is usually your logo placed small in a corner of each photo, at reduced opacity. Start from a Minimal or Wordmark result in Black & White: thin, single-ink shapes stay readable when faded.
Press Transparent PNG before you download. It removes the white connected to the edges of the image. White enclosed inside the artwork, such as the inside of a lens ring, usually stays white, but a broken outline or pale artwork touching the edge can be cut out too, so preview the cut-out. On a light photo that is invisible; on a dark photo it shows as a small white patch. If that bothers you, fill those areas in your photo editor or pick a design with open shapes.
The file is 1024 pixels square, which is plenty for a corner mark on web exports.
Photography logo mistakes to avoid
Mistake: Borrowing a camera maker's logo or a lookalike of it
Do this instead: Use an original mark; a recognizable brand logo on your work invites a trademark complaint.
Mistake: Using a full-color, detailed badge as the watermark
Do this instead: Keep the badge for print and social, and use a simple single-ink version on photos.
Mistake: Writing a long tagline that blurs at watermark size
Do this instead: Keep it to two or three words, or leave the tagline empty for the watermark version.
Mistake: Picking a generic icon that says nothing about your work
Do this instead: Choose the icon that matches what clients hire you for, such as Camera Heart for weddings.
What the camera logo maker gives you
Free, with no strings
Three logos per visitor, for life. No sign-up, no credit card and no watermark of ours on your result. The site has no paid plans right now.
What the file is
Each camera logo is a PNG, 1024 pixels on each side, on plain white, plus a browser cut-out with a transparent background. It is not a vector file, and there is no editor.
Where the result is kept
Nothing of yours is uploaded: we receive only your name, tagline, extra-details text and the options you pick. The AI provider keeps each result for a limited time only and there is no gallery, so save every logo you like straight away.
