Privacy Policy

Make Your Own Logo (makeyourownlogo.net) makes logos with AI from a brand name and a few choices you pick. Nobody uploads anything here: the logo is drawn from text alone. This page explains what the site handles, why, who else sees it and how long it stays. "We" and "us" mean the people who run makeyourownlogo.net.

The short version

• What you type (brand name, tagline, extra details) goes to the AI model to draw your logo. We don't sell it, publish it or use it to train AI models.
• To share out the free logos fairly, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address and a device identifier. We never store your raw IP address.

• There are no accounts. We never ask for your name or email address.

What you send us

Your logo request. The brand name and optional tagline you type, the style, icon and colors you select, and any extra details you add in the free-text box. Please don't put personal information there: a business or team name is all the tool needs.

Emails. If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can answer.

What the site notes on its own

• Free logo allowance. A salted hash of your IP address, an identifier your browser works out from its own settings, and how many free logos you have made. The browser identifier is also saved in your browser's local storage.
• Generation records. The full request we sent to the AI model (your brand name, tagline, extra details and the options you picked), which page it came from, when, whether it worked, and the link to the finished logo.
• Server logs. As with any website, our host handles your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, to serve the site and keep attacks out.

• Visit counts. Plausible Analytics counts visits without cookies and without anything that identifies you. We only see totals such as page views, countries and the sites that sent visitors.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies for visitors. Your browser's local storage holds the device identifier above and whether you chose the light or dark theme. Clearing this site's data removes both.

Services that help run the site

A few outside services do part of the work. Each one gets only what its job needs:

• Cloudflare: hosts the site; like any web host it sees your IP address when you connect.
• AI image model providers: receive your brand name, tagline and chosen options, run the model that creates your logo, and keep the result for a limited time so it can be downloaded.

• Plausible Analytics: counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you.

We also hand over information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to stop fraud or keep people safe. We don't sell personal information and we don't share it for advertising.

How long things are kept

• Finished logos: the AI provider that drew them keeps them for a limited time so you can download them, then removes them. We don't keep a gallery, so download the ones you like.
• Free allowance records: for as long as we hand out free logos. They contain no raw IP address.
• Generation records: for as long as we need them to run the service and stop abuse. Email us and we delete the ones linked to your requests.

Your rights

Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, send you a copy, fix it or delete it. We reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Make Your Own Logo is not for anyone under 13. If we learn that someone younger has used it, we delete what we hold about them.

Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS. Each finished logo sits at a long random address that is not listed anywhere, but anyone who has the link can open it, so share result links only with people you trust.

Where data is processed

Our host and AI providers run servers in several countries, so your request may be processed outside the country you live in.

Updates to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change affects how your logo requests are used, we will announce it on the site before it applies.
