How to make your own bakery logo
Three short form rows and a name. Nothing to upload.
- 1
Type the bakery name and tagline
The name takes up to 40 characters and the tagline up to 50. Possessive names like Rosie's or Nana Bea's are fine, apostrophe included.
- 2
Pick a style, an icon and colors
Choose Badge, Mascot, Minimal, Vintage or Wordmark, then Cupcake, Bread Loaf, Croissant, Layer Cake, Cookie or Rolling Pin & Whisk, then one of seven palettes. Add an extra detail in the free-text box if you want one.
- 3
Download the PNG
The bakery logo arrives as a 1024 x 1024 PNG, usually in under a minute. Press Transparent PNG if it will sit on a colored box or bag.
Why bake your logo here
Apostrophes held up in our tests
Bakery names are often possessive. In more than 60 test logos, every name and tagline came out spelled correctly, including Kingsley's and Mama Lucia's. Still check every letter before you print.
Six icons drawn for baking
Cupcake, bread loaf with wheat, croissant, tiered layer cake, chocolate chip cookie, or a crossed rolling pin and whisk. No generic food symbol.
A cut-out that usually keeps the frosting
Transparent PNG removes the white connected to the edges. White icing or cream enclosed inside the artwork usually stays, but pale shapes touching the edge can be cut too, so preview it on a pink box first.
No watermark, nothing to buy
The file you download is the file you use. There are no paid plans or accounts on the site, and your first three logos are free.
Bakery logo maker vs templates vs a designer
What each route gets a small bakery, in general terms. Prices, timelines and files vary by provider.
| This generator | Template logo makers | Freelance designer | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost to download | First three free | Free to edit, paid downloads vary by plan | Paid, quote-based |
| Time | Usually under a minute | Minutes of editing | Depends on the designer |
| Original or shared | New image each time, similar results possible | Templates other shops can pick too | Depends on the brief and contract |
| Files | 1024 px PNG, optional transparent | Varies by plan | Depends on the contract |
| Editing afterwards | None, generate again | Fonts, colors, layout | Revision rounds |
Where a bakery logo goes
Box and bag stickers
A 2 or 3 inch round sticker that seals a cookie box or a bread bag. A Badge style bakery logo already fits the circle.
Cottage food labels
Put the logo above the ingredient list that cottage food rules often require on home-baked goods.
Farmers market table
A printed table sign or a tent banner for a weekend stall. Pick a bold palette so it reads from the aisle.
Instagram and order pages
The square file drops into the profile photo circle, often the first place customers see your bakes.
Cake shop cards
Thank-you cards and care notes tucked into custom cake orders.
Menu boards and price tags
A small mark at the top of a chalkboard or a printed price list by the display case.
Bread shop or cake shop: matching icon and color
Customers read what you sell from the logo before they read the name. A sourdough or artisan bread bakery fits the Bread Loaf icon with Vintage style and Forest Green or Navy & Gold, the warm, earthy look the search results associate with wheat and flour.
A cupcake, cookie or cake shop fits Cupcake, Cookie or Layer Cake with Pastel or Teal & Coral, and a Badge or Mascot style for a playful feel. A patisserie selling viennoiserie suits Croissant with Minimal and Black & White.
Rolling Pin & Whisk works when you bake a bit of everything. Not sure? Spend your free logos on one name in a few styles and compare each bakery logo side by side.
Before you print your bakery logo on boxes
- Check every letter of the name and tagline, even though our tests came out clean.
- Shrink the logo to thumbnail size and make sure the name still reads.
- Print one test sticker at home before ordering a roll.
- Use the Transparent PNG for kraft paper, colored boxes and tinted bags.
- Keep the tagline short; small words on a round sticker blur first.
- Run the USPTO trademark search (or your local office) before you register the name or mark.
Common bakery logo mistakes
Mistake: Packing a cupcake, a loaf, a whisk and a wheat stalk into one mark
Do this instead: Pick the one item you are known for. The Icon row allows one on purpose.
Mistake: A long tagline with a phone number and address
Do this instead: Keep the tagline to a few words such as Baked fresh daily. Contact details belong on the label, not the logo.
Mistake: Ordering 1,000 stickers before testing the logo small
Do this instead: Test it as a profile photo and a single printed sticker first.
Mistake: Sending the PNG to a sign shop for a storefront awning
Do this instead: A 1024 px PNG is for stickers, cards and screens. For large signs or cut vinyl, have a designer trace it to vector or use a vector converter; for embroidered aprons, the embroiderer digitizes it into a stitch file.
What you get, and what you don't
Three free logos
Each visitor gets three logos for life, with no sign-up, no credit card and no watermark. There is no unlimited plan.
A PNG, not a vector
One square PNG on white per click, plus a transparent cut-out. No SVG, no editor, no brand kit. Results are kept only for a limited time, so download right away.
Commercial use, with checks
Our terms let you use the logo for personal and commercial work, and we claim no ownership. Copyright is a separate question: purely AI-made images may not be copyrightable in some countries, including under the US Copyright Office's position. Trademark clearance is up to you, and we can't promise no one gets a similar logo.
